Attractive bushy plant with small feathery leaves and pretty flowers. Each seed pod contains 2 or 3 peas. The pods can be harvested young and used as a soy-free edamame equivalent. - blanch and toss with sea salt and sesame oil. The peas are high in protein and can be cooked and used in stews and salads or ground into flour. Needs a long growing season. Can be a useful nitrogen fixing ground cover through summer.
