So you've heard of lots of plants which are supposed to taste of this or that but this one is astonishing - everyone who tries it says 'OYSTERS!' It belongs to the borage family and also has edible flowers. It is a ground hugging plant with fleshy blue-grey leaves, which sends out horizontal stems of up to 50cm with clusters of flowers at the tip - appearing red to start then turning blue. Suited to poor soils especially gravel, in full sun. Wind, drought and frost hardy. 9 cm pot.
