Rheum rhabarbarum

Excellent home garden variety with strong upright growth.  High yield plants with thick red stalks.  Plants regenerate quickly after cutting. Rhubarb provides good ground cover and will tolerate part shade, and is a useful herbaceous layer in a food forest. Perennial. 9cm pot.
