  • kahikatea-farm-tree-nursery 26 August – Back in Stock soon! - We've got to the stage where we have sold out of so many products and do understand the frustration and disappointment that this may cause. This is mainly due to not being able to have staff here during lockdown, which was a key seasonal time for propagation. Add to that higher demand for products during lockdown and thereafter, the fact that many of our perennials are winter dormant and out of stock then anyway, and a couple of big farm… READ MORE
  • definitely-open-kahikatea-farm 6 April – We’re open again! - Well apologies for the stop-start but obviously the word 'essential' has been interpreted in many different ways recently! Obviously if we do deliver, we'd advise you to wash your hands well after receiving the package. We have already received an increase in demand as people are… READ MORE
  • 17 March 2020 – New website up and running! - What a long journey this has been! The bulk of the work for this new website was done over Autumn and Winter 2019. But then suddenly it was Spring, which means my life is totally ruled by the nursery, and not a moment spare to do anything - not tend to a garden, barely to tend to the kids even, and certainly not to do extra projects. Then Christmas, then our first proper holiday for ten years,..... then finally time… READ MORE
