Drought Tolerant Plants

There is no question that regions of New Zealand are having to withstand longer hotter periods without rainfall, so using plants which can cope with this ‘new normal’ makes sense. There is plenty of information about drought hardy plants available, however what we are looking here at is plants which require minimal or no watering but can still provide us with useful functions in a permaculture system (not just ornamentals).
