Mentha suaveolens
Upright herbaceous perennial forming a good ground cover in moister areas, but is probably the best mint for drier areas. Can be very invasive where conditions are good. The downy green leaves have a mild apple flavour and can be used in salads or to flavour water. A tea of the leaves is said to ease headaches and indigestion.
Height to 40cm.
