Most popular sweet basil, and the very essence of summer! Great for pesto and salads. Also makes a digestive tea and a hair rinse combined with rosemary or chamomile. Well-known companion plant for tomatoes – repels pests and said to sweeten the tomato fruits. Full sun. Keep evenly moist. Cut back developing flowers to encourage leaf growth, or allow flowers to develop to attract bees. Certified organic plant in 9cm pot. Available Oct-Jan only.
