Ceanothus ‘Blue Cushion’
This particular form of California Lilac is the smallest in our range and forms a compact, evergreen nitrogen fixing shrub with small, oblong, glossy dark green leaves. In late spring, fluffy dark-blue flowers are produced from reddish purple buds. The flowers are rich in nectar and pollen and attract bees in droves, as well as butterflies. Suitable for most soil types except for waterlogged. Requires full sun and is extremely drought hardy, an excellent specimen for dry banks and hillsides.
