Description
Echium fastuosum
Shrub-like perennial with green-grey leaves and blue flowers from spring through summer on dramatic spikes up to 50cm long. Ansolutely adored by bees. Very useful filler for hot dry spots within an early food forest system, creating good leaf litter underneath and helping with soil building.
Full sun, poor soil, drought hardy. Tolerant of light frosts only. Height to 2m, spread 1.5m
