Join us for a guided tour of Kahikatea Farm and learn about permaculture and organic principles as we nibble our way around the home gardens and food forest. You’ll also see the nursery, silvopasture system, wattle and daub hut, food forest kitchen/bar and have the opportunity to buy plants at a discount. Please bring your own water bottle, sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.
The tour will take place in light rain but may be cancelled if the weather is too bad, with no postponement date sorry. Please take this into consideration when you are making travel plans. Tours are run subject to maximum and minimum numbers. Children any age free with an adult, under close supervision please. Strictly no dogs. On site hazards include bees, cattle, electric fences, trip hazards, steep slopes and open water.
Cancellation policy: If you have to cancel a tour place more than 2 weeks before the start date we will give you a full refund minus a $10 admin fee. If you cancel your place within 2 weeks of the start date no refunds will be given but a tour place may be taken up in the future, or you may transfer the place to a friend. We reserve the right to cancel a tour if there are not enough registrations. A full refund will of course be given.
