Perennial evergreen herb with a long history of medicinal uses, including a soothing tea for colds. The fresh or dried leaves can also be used as a flavouring for soups, sauces, meat and egg dishes. The flavour is somewhere between sage and mint and is quite strong.

Some reports also say hyssop deters cabbage white butterflies.  Can be trimmed into a hedge or and used as ground cover plant. Full sun.  Space 20cm apart. Height to 60cm.
