Description

Agastache rugosa
Easy to grow herbaceous perennial with lovely anise-mint flavour leaves. One of the 50 fundamental herbs of Chinese herbalism, its medicinal uses include treatment of morning sickness and digestive problems. The leaves and stems are also said to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. The plant’s Korean name is baechohyang (배초향), but it is more commonly known as banga (방아) in southern parts of Korea, where the herb is extensively cultivated. It is typically used in stews and pancakes. Use the leaves raw in salads (small leaves are best) or with flowers in teas.

A lovely herb for kids to harvest and a fantastic  bee attractor.  Height to 100cm.
