Arnica chamissonis
North American species of the well known European herb Arnica montana (Mountain Arnica), with almost identical medicinal benefits. Used commonly to treat sprains and bruises and one of the most effective of all herbal remedies. The plant forms an attractive ground cover for a sunny site, spreading by rhizomes. It prefers some moisture in summer. The cheery bright yellow daisy-like flowers bloom in mid summer. Hardy perennial growing to a height of 30cm. 9cm pot. Certified organic plant.
