Description
Passiflora edulis
Vigorous climber with delicious purple skinned fruits. Needs a trellis in a sunny position with fertile soil, and benefits from good watering and mulching in summer. Plats are not very frost hardy and need a sheltered position. The roots are hardier then the leaves and may resprout after frost damage. Self fertile. The pulp of the fruit is stimulant and tonic. Certified organic plant.
