An edible squash with a thick skin and very long keeping qualities – at least a couple of years. As well as the edible fruit, the leaves, flowers, tendrils and seeds are also edible.
Vining habit similar to pumpkins and melons.

Quick tip though – we use the flesh to make vegetarian spaghetti bolognese!
