Easy care, drought and frost hardy border plant with attractive woolly silver foliage – the felt-like leaves were used as lamp wicks in olden days (Lychnis is Greek for ‘lamp’). At home in cottage garden or Mediterranean/xeriscaping gardens, the spires of magenta flowers from late spring to summer are wonderful for attracting butterflies. A short lived perennial which self seeds freely but is not invasive. Space 30cm apart, height to 60cm when in flower.
9cm pot. Certified organic plant.
