Potentilla erecta
Hardy herbaceous clump forming perennial. Stalks of yellow flowers from early to late summer, attractive to bees. Antibiotic and extremely high in natural tannins, it is considered to be one of the safest natural astringents, and can be used medicinally for dysentry, diarrhea, IBS and more. It is also considered to be an extremely effective herbal remedy for toothache. A red dye can be obtained from the roots. Prefers full sun and is fairly drought tolerant but also tolerates part shade. Height to 40cm.
