Viola tricolor
Tiny pansy with edible leaves (high in vitamin A and C) and flowers, and many medicinal uses. Use in salads, for vinegars, candied for decorations, or dried to make greetings cards. Lovely small flower for children to plant and pick for salads and posies. Annual, but often self-seeds. Height to 15cm.
