The largest of our range of California Lilacs. Frost and drought hardy evergreen nitrogen fixing shrub providing a stunning show of blue flowers in spring which attracts bees by the hive-load! Ht 2.5m x 2.5m.

Full sun, any soil type as long as it’s not waterlogged.
None that we can be sure of, although the true species Ceanothus americanus was used medicinally by indigenous peoples of North America and is still used by herbalists today.
