Thymus serpyllum ‘Ruby Carpet’
Pretty ground cover plant with tiny aromatic leaves. A mass of dark pink flowers all summer. Great for covering walls and banks, or tumbling from a hanging basket. Also tolerates low foot traffic. Not the best culinary variety but can be used for herbal tea and seasoning food if required. Good bee attractor.
Height 10-15cm when in flower. Trim plants after flowering. Needs well drained soil in a sunny spot.
